“Hamburger America” is a state-by-state guide of the top 150 burger joints in the United States, compiled by George Motz. I bought this book in Los Angeles, and believe me, it is one great source of Information. George describes, in a quasi-romantic way, every detail about his tastings at the most authentics burger joints in the country, always giving out the full adress so you can go and make yourself an idea of what is the true American Burger. I am very thankful to him for leading me to places such as The Apple Pan (serving the same burger since 1927) that I could never have discovered myself otherwise. You will find in this book great reviews, ideas, stories and you will realize, like George said, that: “It’s not only about the meat, it’s also about the people you meet”
